Italian authorities confiscate illegal driftnets: "In a surprising move, Italian coast guard officials confiscated illegal driftnets yesterday, in the country's southern region of Calabria. Local inspectors found at least one driftnet measuring over 3 kilometers in length and with a mesh size of 20cm, well outside of legal limits."
